Farm and Family Pet Care was founded by Shelly Lanhart. Shelly is a certified Veterinary Technician with an Associates of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been in the Veterinary profession since 1988. Animals have always been a priority in her life. Her husband has often said he comes after the menagerie of animals they have had in their lives. They have lived just outside of Archer since 1994. Their Family consist of 6 horses, a very happy dog, 1 kitty and some fish. They also have 2 beautiful children. A daughter 11 years old and a son of 8 years.

Farm and Family Pet Care was started out of a great love for animals and to provide those animals with a unique alternative to boarding. We are fully insured, bonded and a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. We keep up with the continuing education needed to provide reliable, quality care. We are commited to the well being of your pets.

 MEET OUR TEAM OF SITTERS

Heather Manning -  Heather pet sits the NW side of Gainesville. She has been working with animals for over 6 years. She worked as a Vet Tech. for Keystone Heights Animal Hospital for 3 1/2 years before moving on to the University of Florida Department of Animal Care Service where she cared for a variety of animals from primates and sheep to dogs, cats and rats. She is currently working as a vet tech. for the University of Florida F.A.R.M.S. department. Heather has always enjoyed working with animals and feels they are such a blessing to take care of.
